Creative at heart.

A little bit nerdy

Teacher. It’s at the core of what I do, whether on campus at UNR or in the yoga studio, I enjoy sharing my work with the world.

Bookkeeper. As a business owner, you have to know your numbers. I had a love-hate relationship with my finances for a long time, and now I help business owners tackle their money-related stressors.

Book enthusiast. You can find me curled up with my kindle, tea, and two pups by my side.

A little bit Woo Woo

Yogi. I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years and earned my 200-hr yoga teacher certification in 2022.

Mindful. From daily gratitude to meditation, I’ve studied mindfulness practices since 2018.

Tree hugger. Quite literally. Nature is my happy place. Hiking, skiing, camping… yes please!

Living seasonally. We aren’t meant to be “on” 24/7. Tapping into the wisdom of the sun and moon cycles, I try to embrace each season.

A lot a bit creative

Artist. I love a good DIY home project and all sorts of crafts.

Podcaster. It’s my favorite medium to share my work with the world. Who knows, a new podcast may be in my future.

Dancer. I performed with the Glassmen Drum Corps from ‘08-’09 and the UIndy dance team from ‘08-’12. I stopped dancing after college until my passion was reignited at a yoga retreat in 2019. I’ve danced for no purpose other than personal joy ever since.

What my students are saying…

“I love Candi’s lecturing style! The short lecture with an interactive worksheet really helped me understand the context before the discussion and I got to hear more perspectives beyond just the reading.”

“This was the most I’ve truly interacted and paid attention in a class.”
